AN ice rink and winter tipi lodge have opened at a new events space in St Helens town centre.
The attractions are in place off Foundry Street, at the site of the former Chalon Way multi-storey car park, which was flattened earlier this year.
Outdoor food and drink stalls
As well as the lodge and synthetic rink, there is an outdoor bar and food and drink stands.
The canal-side area also houses the American-style drive-in cinema on Saturdays.
The tipi lodge houses arts and crafts
The rink was used by families on Thursday night as crowds gathered in the town centre for the Christmas lights switch on.
