SNOW and sleet showers could continue to fall in parts of St Helens this afternoon, according to forecasts.
Parts of the town saw wintry showers - including flurries of snow - late on Sunday morning as temperatures tumbled.
The BBC forecasts there could be further showers up until 4pm this afternoon.
Temperatures will be about 2C this afternoon but are expected to fall to freezing by early evening and -2C through the night.
