The lights switch-on has been postponed
ST HELENS Christmas lights switch-on has been postponed due to high winds.
The event was due to take place in Church Square today between noon and 6pm.
However, ongoing concerns over Storm Arwen - and the potential for safety issues at a large gathering - have led to the decision by St Helens Borough Council.
