ON Day 25 of our Nostalgia November feature we flashback to July 1975 and a Saints XI against an All Stars team which featured the hugely popular England midfielder Nobby Stiles.
Stiles joined fellow World Cup winner Bobby Charlton and ex-Manchester United colleague David Herd in turning out for the All Stars in aid of John Mantle's testimonial.
Stiles, who played in every minute of England's 1966 World Cup campaign, famously danced a jig of delight around Wembley with the gleaming Jules Rimet.
After a long spell at United, which in 1968 saw him part of that first English team to win the European Cup, Stiles moved on to Middlesbrough and then a two-year player-coach spell at Preston North End...a stint that was about to end at the time of this photograph.
