A ROAD was closed by police earlier today following a crash.
Rainhill Road was closed both ways this morning, Tuesday, November 23.
This was following a crash involving two cars between Brookfield Avenue and the Black Horse pub.

Residents reported officers near, to the Black Horse, not allowing traffic to pass.
There was a diversion in route for the 10A bus.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "It was a damage only RTC (road traffic collision) at 10.20am involving a Fiat 500 and a Ford Fiesta.
"The road was closed and the council have been clearing debris."
A North West Ambulance spokesman added: "We assessed two people, neither of which required hospital treatment."
The road has since been reopened.
