There are delays on the M6
THERE is slow traffic on the M6 up to Haydock after emergency services were called to an incident this afternoon, Monday.
There is queueing traffic for three miles due to a police incident on M6 both ways between J26 M58 (Orrell Interchange) and J23 A580 East Lancashire Road (Haydock).
The northbound side was reopened at 2.25pm. Meanwhile, the southbound side remains closed
This follows an incident on the southbound side between J25 (Bryn) and J24 (Ashton-in-Makerfield) where traffic was earlier stopped at 1.35pm.
