AN APPLICATION for a certificate of lawfulness to use a building as a family residential centre has been sent.
The bid relates to a proposed use of a building in Duncan Street, St Helens.
Christopher Kennedy, of Shape Care, has sent in the application to the council.
The application says that the firm's "senior management team has a combined experience of over 40 years in care provision across the north west".
It adds: "Our ultimate aim is for both mum and baby to leave our services having had fair opportunity, free from judgment and armed with tools to thrive - regardless of the outcome".
It says: "The Oval accommodation comprises a bungalow with six en-suite bedrooms which have been refurbished to a high, modern standard and can accommodate up to six families".
A determination deadline on the application has been set for December 31.
