DELICIOUS wines from "far and wide" will be available to taste at Riddling Rack's celebratory wine tasting event at Haydock Park this December.
As coronavirus forced a year hiatus upon the team last year, the event is back by popular demand with a "large selection" of wine and spirits for guests to test their tastebuds.
With 14 suppliers involved with the event, there will be approximately 80-90 wines from around the world available; with some staples from Riddling Rack's wine wall while others will be bought with the intention to create new experiences.
The Christmas event includes two sessions and is an extension of how the popular bar operates on Newton-le-Willows' High Street; with a passion and focus on wine and providing customers with regular wine tasting events in their upstairs champagne lounge - something that wasn't even hindered by the pandemic as the team continued it virtually.
Alison Wilson, co-owner of Riddling Rack and host of the bar's wine tasting events, said: "The event is another big Christmas wine tasting night which celebrates everything that we do.
"It's really at the ethos of what the business is about, where we get together to broaden people's horizons and palettes to learn all about wine.
"It will be in keeping with our style and quality, and is great to bring all of our clients, customers and community together for the night."
Described as a "sociable event" that gives people the opportunity to try a host of new wine and spirits, the "great" feedback of previous efforts has given the team the confidence to continue and expand this avenue of the business.
The event will take place on Friday, December 3 in the Haydock Park Premiere Suite. The two sessions will take place from 4-6pm and 8-10pm, and the night will also be a great opportunity to purchase some flavoursome Christmas gifts to take home.
