TWO women who have pleaded guilty to ABH and criminal damage will be sentenced next month.

Diane McGregor, 48, and Leanne McGregor, 38, both appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court earlier this month.

They both pleaded guilty to a charge of assault of a woman, causing her actual bodily harm (ABH).

The two defendants attacked the same victim on on July 3 last year at an address in Sutton.

They also both pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damaged. This was in relation to an Ipad which was damaged, which belonged to the same victim.

Diane McGregor, of Ward Street, St Helens, and Leanne McGregor, of Argyle Street, St Helens, were both remanded on unconditional bail after the hearing.

The case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Both defendants will appear back at the magistrates' court on Tuesday, November 9 for sentencing.
