ST HELENS' young acting sensation Jude Riordan has been nominated for another gong fresh from his success at the National Television Awards (NTAs).

Jude Riordan was crowned Best Newcomer at the NTAs earlier this month which were screened live on ITV.

Now the St John Vianney pupil has been nominated for the Favourite Newcomer prize in the TV Times Awards 2021.

 

Jude is up against fellow nominees Olly Alexander from It's A Sin; The Crown's Emma Corrin; Call the Midwife's Megan Cusack; Conrad Khan from Baptiste and Death in Paradise's Tahj Miles.

Voting is now open to the public for the awards.

Jude, from Lea Green, has been nominated for his portrayal of Sam Blakeman in soap Coronation Street, the long lost son of Nick Tilsley.

Jude's character has been at the forefront of some explosive storylines this year, including a dramatic kidnap plot.

He first hit TV screens in 2017 after starring in The Secret Life of Five Year Olds on Channel 4.

Jude, 10, has gone on to appear in CBBC programmes and several adverts.

And in 2018 he landed the coveted role as Tyler in Sky One’s Brassic alongside former Corrie star Michelle Keegan and Vince Gilligan.
