A MAN has been charged with offences including possession of an imitation firearm and false imprisonment after police were called to a "domestic incident".
Officers received reports of a man in possession of weapons who had allegedly made threats towards and assaulted a woman at an address in Cowley Hill Lane on Saturday, September 11 at around 3.30pm.
A man reportedly made off from the address.
A suspect was later arrested by officers and taken to a police station for questioning.

Paul Allender, of Cowley Hill Lane, St Helens has been charged with assault by beating; common assault; criminal damage; false imprisonment and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Allender, 38, has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, October 11.
