HERE are details of five recent cases heard at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court:

- A MAN who stole razors from The Range has been fined.

Shane Wilson, 34, of no fixed address (date of birth 1.7.1987) pleaded guilty to stealing razors worth £23.98 from the Range on June 29.

He was fined £50 and made to pay a £34 surcharge.

- A MAN who denied two charges of assault will face a summary trial.

Michael Middlehurst, of Central Drive, Haydock pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault by beating.

Middlehurst, 24, denied assaulting a male and a female on March 6 this year.

He was given conditional bail and will next appear at the court for a trial on December 2.

- A MAN who had cocaine in his possession was given a community order.

Jamie Pitt, of Sunners Green Close, Parr, indicated a guilty plea to having the Class A drug on him at the Albert Dock in Liverpool on December 12 last year.

Pitt, 31, was sentenced to a community order and must have treatment for alcohol dependency for six months.

Pitt was given an electronic curfew for six months and do rehabilitation activity for up to 15 days.

He was ordered to pay a £95 surcharge and £85 in costs.

- A MAN has denied a charge of drug driving.

Peter Shannon, of Harlow Close, Sutton Heath, is accused of driving in Huyton with excess cannabis in his blood on November 20, 2020.

Shannon, 40, was remanded on unconditional bail until October 5 when he is due back in court.

- A MAN who stole headphones has been sentenced.

Conner Evans, 22, of no fixed address (date of birth: 24.6.1999) pleaded guilty to the theft at Rymans in Lagrange Arcade on July 20.

Evans was given a community order and must do up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity and 100 hours of unpaid work in 12 months.

He must also pay £19.99 in compensation.
