FOLLOWING a successful club open day, St Helens Hockey Club have now revealed plans for regular training sessions for women and juniors.
This means that for the first time since their inception in 2015, the club can offer hockey to anybody keen to play.
As part of a long-term growth plan the club and its committee have been working hard to put these plans in place and with the recent Tokyo Olympic Games showcasing the sport the timing of this couldn’t be better.
The women's training sessions will take place each Tuesday at Rainford High School between 7.30pm & 9pm.
Anybody keen to have a go is welcome to attend and to begin this is free of charge.
Junior sessions for children aged 8-16 were scheduled to begin from Sunday, August 29 at Newton Health & Fitness between 11am and 12.30pm.
The open day saw many people giving the sport a try and the feedback from the women and children was unanimously positive.
The club are able to provide all the equipment needed and any further information is available from admin@sthelenshockey.com
