TWO men filled a petrol can at a garage and made off without paying, police say.
Officers received a report that "two males" committed the theft at Ashcroft Service Station on Ashcroft Street, Fingerpost.
The incident happened on Saturday shortly before midday.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were contacted at 11.50am on Saturday (July 24) following reports that two males had attended at Ashcroft service station, on Ashcroft Street, filled a petrol can and made off without paying."
