A WOMAN accused of causing death by dangerous driving in a crash has appeared in court. 

Anne Marie Crook, of Cheviot Avenue, Parr is alleged to have driven a black Renault Clio dangerously on the East Lancashire Road on October 31, 2019.

Crook, 42, is charged with causing the death of Paula Kingdon by dangerous driving.

She appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court today, Wednesday, June 21.

Crook did not enter a plea during the hearing.

The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court where Crook will next appear on Wednesday, August 18.

The defendant was given unconditional bail until then.
