POLICE say a woman in her 60s who was knocked down by a car did not suffer serious injuries.
The collision, between a Toyota and the pedestrian, happened at the junction of Haydock Lane and Clipsley Lane, Haydock at about 6.30pm on Monday, July 19.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said the driver of the car had stopped at the scene.
Onlookers said roads were closed off after the incident.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called to Clipsley Lane at 6.30pm yesterday following reports of a road traffic collision involving a Toyota car and a female pedestrian in her 60s.
"There is no suggestion the pedestrian was seriously injured and the driver stopped at the scene."
