OFFICERS have given an update after two arrests were made after a car crashed with a police vehicle and a lamppost.
A vehicle collided with a police car on Juddfield Street, Haydock shortly before 10am on Tuesday, June 22.
The driver, a 40-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said he has since been released under investigation.

Meanwhile, a 47-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs, will face no further action.
The man and woman were taken to hospital as a precaution.
No police officers were injured during the incident.
Both vehicles involved sustained damage and were recovered from the scene.
