Along with the lottery, Paypoint and an ATM, the shop will have a food and drinks to go range and machines including Costa Coffee and Tango Ice Blast.
Alex Wilson, head of acquisitions at AMACOR said: “This site is a busy one and we’ll be looking to build on the existing customer base that has been established by the Co-op and attract more shoppers through the addition of new services and products.
“We’ll be operating with the same store team and manager, so shoppers will get the same great level of service they are accustomed to whilst enjoying more choice and some fantastic prices and promotions.
“We know there are strong community links at the store, and we’ll be continuing to support this through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity, raising money to donate to local good causes in and around Newton-le-Willows.”
