POLICE have named a teenager charged with possession of a knife after two youths allegedly rode off when police tried to speak with them
On Tuesday afternoon, officers on patrol on Brook Street, Whiston tried to stop and speak with two people on bikes.
One was later stopped and searched and a locking knife was seized.

Police confirmed that Sam Marston, 18, of Basildon Close, Sutton Heath has been charged with the possession of a knife in a public place.
Marston will appear in court next month.
