A HOUSE at the centre of complaints about drugs and anti-social behaviour has been shut down by a court.
Police and St Helens Borough Council took action over 34 Ghyll Grove, Carr Mill following complaints from members of the public.
The property was linked to drugs and anti-social behaviour, prompting the police and and the council to take the matter to the courts.
Officers released a picture of the house boarded up.
Limited detail has been released about the court ruling so far, however, in a statement police said: "The occupiers have been removed from the address with the power of court order and will no longer be able to disrupt our community.
"Thank you for the support of the residents and partner agencies."
