A SEVENTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD man who was found guilty of a sexual assault has been given a community order.
Anthony Wynne, of Volunteer Street, St Helens had been found guilty of sexual assault after a summary trial.
Wynne was convicted of sexual touching of a woman without consent on November 22, 2019.
The pensioner was given a community order when sentenced at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.

He must comply with an electronic curfew for eight weeks and do up to 25 days of rehabilitation activity.
Wynne was also given a one-year restraining order not to contact his victim.
The 71-year-old must also pay £650 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £95 surcharge to victim services.
