A MAN charged in connection with a stabbing in Whiston in which a victim was left with neck wounds will appear at Liverpool Crown Court next month.
The Star reported when a huge police presence was called to flats off Delph Lane, Whiston, on Tuesday, June 1.
A man in his 30s had suffered stab wounds to his wrist and neck following an alleged attack shortly before 5pm.
Police said that following “extensive enquiries” a man was arrested in the Kirkby on Saturday, June 5.

Edward Doughty, 46, of Stuart House, Whiston was charged with wounding; dangerous driving; and criminal damage in connection with the same incident.
Doughty appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 7.
He was remanded back into custody and is due to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, July 5.
