A ST HELENS youngster has been clocking up the kilometres and collecting the pounds as she covered 100km in May.
Darcy Fleming pledged to run 5km every weekday last month in a bid to raise funds for Madison Court Care Home in Parr, where her nan Kath is staying.
The 11-year-old ran, cycled and walked 5km each day giving regular updates on her parents’ Facebook pages.

Darcy said: “I would like to thank everyone for their amazing support and all the love people have given me.
“The money we have raised will be a fantastic donation to Madison Court.
“They are caring for my nan Kath who is unfortunately suffering from Alzheimer’s.”
