A MAN has been charged with wounding after police were called to a disturbance at a Salvation Army hostel.
Officers attended Salisbury House on Phoenix Brow, St Helens on Monday afternoon (June 7).
A man was arrested in connection with an alleged assault on a female.

Paul Hanlon, 47, of Salisbury House, Phoenix Brow has been charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday, June 9).
