A MEMBER of Grange Park Golf Club is celebrating after winning the Lancashire Ladies County Championship final.

The contest took place at Manchester Golf Club with Lauren Green hitting all the right shots and finishing at the top of the leaderboard, becoming county champion for the second time in three years.

The 21-year-old former Rainford High School and Carmel College student was an impressive three shots under par through the 36 qualifying rounds, which was six shots better than her nearest rival Emily Byrne from Formby Ladies.
