THIS was the scene after a crash on the M6 this morning (Monday, June 7).
A car was left on its side following the collision which happened on the M6 southbound at Junction 26.
There has been queueing traffic due to the crash, with congestion to before Junction 27 (Standish).

Merseyside Roads Policing Unit said they were called to the incident.
The road has since been reopened and there have been no serious injuries reported.
The Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "The road is now open and everyone is OK, thanks to their seatbelts. A great advert for using them I’d say".
