CAKE making siblings who bake for the stars have added yet another celebrity to their growing list after creating a look-a-like treat for Jason Manford.

Adam and Abigail Ashton from Eccleston, aged 30 and 26 respectively, do not have any professional training in the art of cake making.

But this did not stop the pair from falling into creating amazing cakes for their business Tidbits and Treats.

Their creations range from simple cupcakes to gargantuan cakes made to look like Simba from the Lion King.

They’ve made delicious artworks for the likes of Johnny Vegas, Leanne Campbell from Radio City, The Lowry Theatre and were featured on the Real Housewives of Cheshire - with Jason Manford being their latest celebrity client.

The pair took to Instagram to share their 26’’ cake of comedian and actor Jason’s likeness which was made for his 40th birthday celebrations.

Adam said: “It was brilliant, Jason really liked the cake, he’s got a lot of kids who wanted to just have a go at it straight away, and apart from the nerve wracking journey to get it to Stockport in the heat it was fun to make and we made sure the structure was super strong for the journey.

“Abigail had to keep an eye on it in the back of the car.

“We are made up with the celebrate following, but its all down to our regular customers who share our work and grabbed the attention of others.”

Adam and Abigail, who are currently baking the cakes out of their homes, are looking for a base in St Helens to create their bakes and are also set to start doing some online cake baking and decorating tutorials when time allows.

Adam added: “We are booked up all the way until October, which is amazing, we love what we do and the challenge of new creations and hope to eventually have a bit of time to share some tutorials in the future as our followers keep requesting them and we’d love to do it.”
