AN 11-year-old boy is in hospital with serious head and leg injuries after being hit by a car on Clock Face Road.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after the crash at approximately 4.40pm on Wednesday, May 12 between a silver Ford Fiesta car and a 11-year-old boy pedestrian.
His injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
The driver stayed at the scene to assist with enquiries and was uninjured.
Inspector Stuart McIver said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw this incident, or the aftermath, and captured any footage on dashcam or bodycam.
"Likewise, if you have CCTV from a property on Clock Face Road, please get in touch to assist our enquiries."
