A closure will be in place
OVERNIGHT closures will be in place at Rainhill Stoops Island this Friday to allow emergency road resurfacing repair works to be carried out.
Works will take place between the hours of 9pm and 5am, with Rainhill Stoops roundabout closed between Watkinson Way and the eastbound exit slip road.

Closures will also be in place on the M62 westbound entry slip road, while A557 Watkinson Way will be closed to traffic entering the roundabout.
Signed diversions will be in place for all closures.
