A MAN who was arrested after a haul of tablets, cannabis edibles and a drugs production set-up were uncovered when police raided a flat has been released under investigation.
Officers executed a search warrant at an address in Prescot town centre on Saturday, May 8.
They discovered suspected LSD tablets, cannabis, cannabis edibles and other drugs - including suspected Class A substances.
A production set up was also found inside the flat, which officers believe was being used to create edible drugs.
A large quantity of white tablets - suspected Class C drugs - and diazepam tablets, which had not been prescribed, were also found.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and production of controlled drugs.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said the suspect has been released under investigation.

Police say a Proceeds of Crime recovery was granted and officers seized numerous items including designer clothing and trainers, jewellery and watches, and electronic equipment.
They added the goods are “believed to have been purchased with money obtained through crime".
In total, more than £15,000 worth of items were recovered.
A Mercedes GLA was also seized as part of the investigation.
