A MAN who has admitted to a charge of grievous bodily harm over an assault outside a town centre pub building will be sentenced next month.
Lee John Smith, of Marian Road, Haydock appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
Smith, 38, indicated a guilty plea to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) on a male.
The attack happened on August 3 last year outside the Wheatsheaf pub building on Westfield Street, St Helens.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court, where Smith will be sentenced.
He has been granted conditional bail until sentencing on May 14.
