POLICE say they have had reports from residents raising concerns over double-yellow parking near to a secondary school.
Officers attended Rainford High on Thursday to monitor parking issues on Witton Way.
Officers issued an appeal for people to leave junctions clear and to park legally to enable the roads to be safe for students.

On Facebook, St Helens Police said: "After concerns raised about parking on double yellow lines, PCSOs James, Lesley and Dawn are at Rainford High School monitoring the parking issues on Witton Way.
"Please leave junctions clear and help keep the roads safer for pupils to cross by parking legally. Thank you."
