A MAN from Prescot has denied causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a girl was hospitalised following a collision.
Stuart Magee, of Hayes Avenue, Prescot appeared at Liverpool Crown Court.
Magee was arrested in Blackpool on the afternoon of Saturday, March 27.
The arrest followed a crash on Hale Road in Widnes at 1pm earlier that day that had left a 13-year-old girl with serious injuries in hospital.
She was taken to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.
Magee, 33, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Magee pleaded not guilty to the charge at Liverpool Crown Court.
A trial date has been earmarked for the week of Monday, November 8.
Magee was remanded back into custody until then.
