WE were glad to see in last week’s edition, concerns raised about dog fouling. It’s a pity St Helens Council don’t seem to be.

We have written to the council five times in the past year – not everyone can go online.

There is a dog who lives at a nearby address that is allowed by its owner to run free, and he never picks up its mess.

It fouls on grass on a school car park and even on the lawn of St Austin’s Church.

We have come from morning mass and it is running up and down the road.

It will soon cause an accident and the council do not seem to care.
