A TEENAGER has been sentenced to a youth rehabilitation order after being convicted of actual bodily harm over an assault at a football ground.
A 15-year-old boy, from Prescot, pleaded guilty at Merseyside Youth Court to ABH over an assault of a male at Valerie Park, on Eaton Street, home of Prescot Football Club on October 28 last year.
The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was given a youth rehabilitation order.
He must attend appointments with a responsible officer or another person at such times and places as the officer says.
The boy was also made to pay £250 in compensation.

The court also ordered to remove a referral order previously made on the boy in November last year after he had been found with a kitchen knife in his possession on Prescot Road, St Helens in August 2020.
Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy from Huyton, who also cannot be named, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating of the same male.
He was referred to a youth offender panel for four months and made to pay £100 in compensation.
