TWO men have been charged with drug supply and production offences following the discovery of a suspected drugs laboratory in Rainford on Tuesday.
At around 3pm, officers attended a location on Ormskirk Road and located a suspected laboratory in a garden shed, comprising blocks of suspected cocaine, a suspected drugs press and other equipment and chemicals.
The scene was made safe by specialist officers and further searches took place. Two men were arrested at the scene.
42-year-old Lee Haigh of Ormskirk Rood in Rainford and 28-year-old Thomas Bullen of Honey Lane, Waltham Abbey, Essex have now been charged with Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and Production of cocaine.
They have been remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates' Court this morning, Thursday April 1.
