A NEW hub with the ambition of helping adults with special needs connect with the community is set to launch.
Ever Evolving is to be opened on Tuesday, April 6 by Marie Cunliffe and the team and will offer special needs provision for adults aged between 18 and 35.
The hub will launch on Fleet Lane, Parr, near the Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre.
Marie, who has 16 years' experience of working with people with special needs, including at Mill Green School, says she hopes the facility will help make a big difference to young adults' lives.
"It is offering different subjects and will be dedicated to sports, horticulture, hair and beauty, enterprise and drama," said Marie, 36.
"It's the kind of things that the students like to do."

Marie says the hub will offer the learners the chance to become "part of a team" and providing them valuable socialising experiences.
"It's bridging the gap for them to access the community and we want to expand and have different bases across the town," she added.
"We hope to get as many learners as we can and we want to have 20 learners per day."
There are to be two sessions a day at the base, one in a morning (9am to 2.30pm) and another in the afternoons (2.30pm to 5pm).
Marie added: "My vision is for them to have fun, have peers and to connect with the community.
"They're the key visions and what we are going to do."
