MORE than 1,500 Easter eggs have been collected for vulnerable children across St Helens thanks to Teardrops Supporting Your Community.
The charity's Easter Egg Collection gained donations from schools and businesses across the town such as De La Salle, Regenda Housing, Corpus Christi in Rainford, David Davies Estate Agents, Merseyside Fire and Rescue and many others, who all gifted Easter eggs to bring a smile to children in need.
Denise Kelly, Teardrops CEO said: "We can’t thank the community and local businesses and schools enough for the support given to Teardrops this Easter.
"We have managed to collect over 1,500 eggs for the children and young people that we support which is a fantastic achievement.
"We are so grateful to everyone who has donated and supported us. In a time of such uncertainty for children and young people we are so pleased to have been able to make a difference.
The Teardrops hub is open to support anyone including families who needs help with things such as housing, welfare and benefit advice.
