A PUB which underwent a renovation shortly before the first coronavirus lockdown has announced it will be reopening its outdoor spaces in April.

The Woodlands on Woodlands Road, Haresfinch had reopened its doors in February 2020 following a revamp.

It had been given a full internal refurbishment and a new kitchen.

Cask ales were added to its offerings.

Also, the garden area to the back received further renovations.

The pub said, following the refurbishment, that it was focused on being a hub of the community and suitable for use by people of all different ages as well as families.

The pub, owned by management company, Blackrose, has confirmed its intended reopening time of 4pm on Friday, April 16 on social media, subject to the lifting of restrictions under lockdown exit roadmap.

In a Facebook post, The Woodlands said: "Hi everyone we are actually opening on Friday 16th April @ 4pm looking forward to seeing you all then".
