FOUR men charged in connection with an alleged drugs plot after a swoop by detectives from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit will appear back in court later this month.
Arrests were made as part of an "on-going investigation into suspected drug supply" on Thursday, March 4.
Two men were held in St Helens, one in Billinge and another in Widnes.
In a statement the NWROCU, which was supported by Merseyside Police, confirmed four men had been charged.

Stephen Piert, aged 27 of Harlow Close, Sutton Heath, has been charged with Conspiracy to Supply a Class B Drug.
David Hunter, aged 48 of Larch Close, Billinge was charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class B Controlled Drugs.
Chris Dooley, aged 35 of Welwyn Close, Sutton Heath was charged with Conspiracy to Supply A Class A and Class B Controlled Drugs.
Ricardo Hughes, aged 53 of Rock Lane, Widnes has been charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A and Class B Controlled Drugs.
All four men appeared at Wirral Magistrates’ Court.
Dooley, Hunter and Hughes were remanded in custody, while Piert was bailed.
Their next court date has been scheduled for Wednesday March 31.
