A WOMAN convicted of ABH after a "frenzy attack" with a weapon has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Kelly Anders, of Mill Lane, Sutton Leach appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
Anders, 32, indicated a guilty plea to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a man.
The assault took place on November 20, last year.

According to a court sheet the custodial sentence was imposed because of the "use of a weapon" in the "frenzy attack".
Anders was given a 26-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months.
She must have treatment for alcohol dependency under the direction of an officer of a provider of probation services for six months.
Anders must also do up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity.
The 32-year-old was also made to pay a £128 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Her guilty plea was taken into account as sentence was imposed.
