JACK’S Supermarket donated a hamper of pies, potatoes and vegetables to Sherdley Manor Residential Care Home.

The hamper will provide a tasty meal for residents in Sherdley Manor Residential Care Home to enjoy during national pie week (1st – 8th March).

James Deakin, Store Manager of Jack’s St Helens, said: “We are proud to be a part of the St Helens community and want to help out wherever we can.

"The donations to Sherdley Manor Residential Care Homeare just a little something to put a smile on the residents faces. What's more, all of our pies are made in Britain, using produce sourced from local suppliers around the country.”

Linda Campbell from Sherdley Manor Residential Care Home said: “The last few months have been extremely difficult for care homes but it is so uplifting to know that there are so many people who give so much thought, time and generosity in thinking of others.

"I would like to take this opportunity of thanking each and everyone of you at Jack’s once again for your wonderful donation which is so very much appreciated by all at Sherdley Manor Care Home.”
