Two men have been arrested after a 19-year-old man was stabbed.
The teenager was taken to hospital on Sunday night, where he remains in a stable condition.
On Sunday at around 10.45pm, police were called to Bloomfield Road in Blackpool after receiving reports that a man had been found with a stab injury.
Two men were later arrested on Central Drive in connection with the incident.
A 25-year-old was apprehended on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon and suspicion of GBH.
A 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of GBH.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at around 10.45pm on Sunday, February 28, to reports that a man had been found with a stab injury on Bloomfield Road, Blackpool.
"The 19-year-old was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
"Two men were arrested a short time later on Central Drive in connection with the incident.
"They are a 25-year-old man from Blackpool on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon and assault (GBH) and a 28-year-old man of no fixed address on suspicion of assault (GBH).
"The pair remain in police custody at this time."
Police say they are in the early stages of their investigation and are asking anyone who saw what happened or who has any information about it to call 101 quoting incident reference 1685 of February 28.
