POLICE say they received a report of "suspicious activity" in Haydock earlier today (Wednesday, February 24).
Officers say they were contacted with reports of "suspicious activity" this morning in relation to a white Transit van.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were contacted around 8.30am today (Wednesday 24 February) after unconfirmed reports of suspicious activity in Haydock.
"A man in a white Ford transit van is believed to have driven slowly up Whiteside Road before pulling over and heading in the direction of Central Drive.
"There was no interaction with the driver of the vehicle, and no offences have been identified."
