A MAN charged with historic sexual offences on a girl has appeared in court.
David Power, of Hollingsworth Court, St Helens will face a Crown Court next month over the charges.
Power is charged with indecent assault of a girl under 14 and with inciting a girl under 14 to commit an act of gross indecency.
Power, 61, is accused of committing the offences between December 1989 and December 1990.

The 61-year-old appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court where Power will next appear.
He was remanded on unconditional bail.
Power will next appear at the Crown Court on Tuesday, March 2.
