WHILE people are busy discussing giving pubs, clubs and theatres a new lease of life and ways to relax restrictions, the world has forgotten the people who live in care homes who have not been able to see family members properly for six months and even more.
They are forgotten whilst everyone just wants to go the pub and on holiday!
Who is fighting for their rights?
Who cares enough to write a story about them?
Six months I have not been able to see my mum due to Covid.
She has gone from a bubbly personality to a withdrawn, ill looking individual who feels lost and forgotten.
She cannot understand why we cannot see her only through a pane of glass.
How she and others must feel like animals in a cage, no rights, no love, just a friendly face waving through the glass.
Please give them a voice.
