THE son of former Saints scrum half Sean Devine made history in today’s FA Cup third round.
Tottenham Hotspurs Alfie Devine became the club's youngest ever player and goalscorer at 16 years and 163 days after finding the net in the 5-0 win over north Liverpool non-league side Marine.
Spurs introduced Devine at half-time as he made history and he needed only 15 minutes to enter another page of the record books.

A summer signing from Wigan, Devine found the bottom corner from the edge of the area to cap a memorable day.
His dad Sean played half back for Saints between 1986 and 1991.
As a 20-year-old he featured prominently in the heart-breaking 1990 Challenge Cup semi-final defeat by Wigan, scoring a try in the 20-14 defeat at Old Trafford.
Saints lost that match to a disputed late Wigan try.
