A MAN who was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving in connection with a crash in 2017 has appeared in court.
Rory McCormick, 29 was charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, in relation to a three-vehicle collision on Greenes Road in Whiston in July 2017.
McCormick, of Queens Road , Formby was arrested in Vauxhall, Liverpool on Sunday (November 8).
In a statement police said officers attended a flat on Waterloo Road at 10.50am and following a search detained a man who was found hiding under a bed.
McCormick was remanded in custody and appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court where the 29-year-old will next appear on December 7.
McCormick was given unconditional bail until then.
