A MAN was arrested after police found two knives which were hidden in a compartment under the steering wheel of a car.
Officers stopped a black BMW on Fleet Lane, Parr on Thursday, November 26 at around 9.30pm.

A 21-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.
He has since been released pending further enquiries, say police.
St Helens Police said: "If you know someone carrying a weapon, let us know."
