Police arrest youth and seize knife after swoop on house
A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested as police seized a knife and drugs when they swooped at the house of a suspect.
Officers targeted a property on St Helens Road, Prescot on Thursday morning as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession of a knife in a public place.
The teenager was detained inside and later taken into custody as part of the investigation.
The arrest was in connection with a male allegedly carrying a knife on Cyprus Street, Prescot during October.
The suspect was also wanted in connection with theft from a motor vehicle.
